We’re looking for dedicated individuals to join our team across much of MI/OH/IL/IN, where every day brings the opportunity to make a positive impact on our customers and our environment.

 

As a member of the KGS local team, you will play an important role in maintaining beautiful, healthy plant displays while working in a dynamic, fast-paced setting. You’ll have the chance to work with plants, enhance store environments, and create positive experiences for customers all while being part of a supportive and energetic team. Whether you’re designing seasonal displays, ensuring plant health, or managing a team to achieve goals, your contributions will help elevate the gardening experience for our customers.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain visually appealing plant displays to captivate and inspire customers.
• Ensure plants are healthy, thriving, and properly cared for by following watering and maintenance protocols.
• Work closely with your team to achieve daily goals and ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain up-to-date promotional signage and materials for current sales and events.
• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers and answering plant-related questions.

 

What We’re Looking For:

• A passion for plants and creating beautiful outdoor environments.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• The ability to work independently while being a team player.
• Reliable and consistent work ethic with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
• Physical stamina to stay active during your shift, including lifting up to 50 lbs and performing general maintenance duties.

 

Position Requirements:

• Must live in close proximity to our local retail service locations (we have locations across most rural and urban markets in the states of MI/IL/OH/IN).
• Reliable transportation to commute to work.
• Flexible schedule, including availability for at least two 4-hour shifts per week.
• Ability to remain active throughout your shift.
